Privacy Policy

The short version: we store what the app needs to keep score, we show your results to the people you play with, and we don't sell anything to anyone. The long version follows.

1 · CONTROLLER

2 · WHAT WE PROCESS, AND WHY

Account data — username, e-mail address, password (stored hashed). Legal basis: performance of contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Game data — match results, scores, game types, dates and the players involved. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — it's the entire point of the app.

Social data — friend connections and invite links. Your match results, win rates and rankings are visible to the friends you play with. That's how a leaderboard works; if you don't want a result shared, don't log it.

Technical data — IP address, device type, OS version, crash logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a working, secure app, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Analytics — currently: none. If we ever add usage analytics, we'll ask for consent first (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3 · RECIPIENTS & PROCESSORS

Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany — all data is stored on servers in the EU. Push notifications and app distribution: Apple Inc. All processors are bound by data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR). We do not sell personal data — not even for a very good offer.

4 · STORAGE & DELETION

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. Deleting your account (Profile → Delete account) removes your personal data; matches against other players are anonymized so their histories stay intact. Backups are purged within [30] days.

5 · YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), plus the right to complain to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Write to privacy@tournamently.de — a human answers.

6 · THIS WEBSITE

The website sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics. Fonts are self-hosted — no requests to third-party font servers. Server logs (IP, timestamp, requested page) are kept by our host (Hetzner, EU) for 14 days for security purposes (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
